The AVP continues its Midwest tradition as Chi-Town hosts the 2023 Gold Series Chicago Open. Beach volleyball’s best and brightest will battle to become the pride of Oak Street Beach, and fans will once again have the privilege of enjoying their Labor Day Weekend under the city skyline. Established in 1960, there is one AVP event synonymous with the word ‘iconic” — the Manhattan Beach Open. The reigning epicenter of professional beach volleyball, the Granddaddy of them all, returns to its spot on the throne with the biggest draw of the season.

With last year’s reigning Champions now on separate teams, we’re guaranteed to crown two new duos in 2023. Who will cement their place in history on the fabled Manhattan Beach Pier this year?

The AVP Tour is blazing through Phoenix for the first time since 2009, and the only thing more intense than the climate will be the Championship competition. Different from all other events this season, the Phoenix Championships will feature the Top 4 Teams per gender from the 2022 Gold Series events. In addition, two Wild Card spots (per gender) will be added to the field.

This will be a two-day competition on one court, so it’s sure to get intense. Can you handle the heat?
